The Effect of Election Administration on Voter Confidence: A local matter?

Reports findings of a pre-election survey on voter confidence. Results suggest that voter confidence will vary by locality and context. Poll workers have an important impact on voter confidence as does ballot design. Finally, those voting early or absentee had less confidence that their ballot was counted correctly.
